Prayer in Hand

Your prayers stay private.

Prayer in Hand does not transmit prayer activity, practice history or private notes.

In the app

Every prayer text and the liturgical calendar are bundled with the app. The devotional features work offline and do not contact a developer-operated service.

Which prayers you open, how often you pray, your personal-rule schedule and private prayer notes are stored on your device. CloudKit synchronization is not enabled.

This is deliberate. What a person prays for is among the most sensitive information there is, and it should never be transmitted, logged or analysed.

Apple services

Prayer in Hand uses Apple's StoreKit to load products, complete purchases, check entitlement status and restore purchases. That traffic goes to Apple and includes no prayer activity, practice history or private notes; we do not receive your payment-card details.

If you enable a Personal Rule reminder, Prayer in Hand requests notification permission and schedules the reminder locally. It does not request camera, microphone, photo-library, contacts, location or tracking permission.

If you have iCloud Backup enabled, iOS may include local app data in your encrypted device backup. Prayer in Hand does not enable CloudKit sync.

On this website

We use cookieless page and app-button counts to understand which guides people read. We exclude search terms, URL fragments and prayer activity, reduce referrers to their origin, and respect Do Not Track. We do not connect website visits to your activity in the app.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we receive your address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond to you. You can request a copy or deletion of that correspondence at hello@opsibyte.com.
