Prayer in Hand never transmits your prayers, intentions, practice history or private notes. It sends only anonymous usage stats, with no personal data.

Prayer in Hand sends anonymous usage stats, with no personal data, to a server we operate. It never sends your prayers, intentions, practice history or notes. There is no account, advertising or third-party tracker, and we do not sell or share anything.

Apple-provided services and actions you deliberately take can involve limited data leaving the app. Those cases are identified below, including what leaves the app and who processes it.

• Every prayer text and the liturgical calendar are bundled with the app, and the devotional features work offline.
• Which prayers you open, how often you pray, your personal-rule schedule and private prayer notes are stored on your device. CloudKit synchronization is not enabled.
• This is deliberate. What a person prays for is among the most sensitive information there is, and it should never be transmitted, logged or analysed.

• Prayer in Hand uses Apple's StoreKit to load products, complete purchases, check entitlement status and restore purchases. That traffic goes to Apple and includes no prayer activity, practice history or private notes; we do not receive your payment-card details.
• If you enable a Personal Rule reminder, Prayer in Hand requests notification permission and schedules the reminder locally. It does not request camera, microphone, photo-library, contacts, location or tracking permission.
• If you have iCloud Backup enabled, iOS may include local app data in your encrypted device backup. Prayer in Hand does not enable CloudKit sync.

Anonymous usage stats only. The app sends anonymous usage stats to our self-hosted Umami server: which screens open (by generic name such as "rosary" or "settings"), paywall views, purchases started or completed with the product chosen, simple error codes, app version, device model, language and App Store country. Each install gets a random number created by the app so visits can be counted; it is not tied to your name, email, Apple ID or advertising identifier. The server derives a country from the connection and does not store the IP address. The app never sends which prayers you pray, your intentions, your practice history or your notes, never tracks you across other apps or websites, and never asks for tracking permission.

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. StoreKit uses network access to load products, complete purchases, check entitlement status and restore purchases. This transaction traffic is separate from your app content: the app does not add your journal, notes, photos, prayer activity, chart data or other in-app content to StoreKit requests. We never see your payment-card details.

You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. That is entirely within your control and never requires contacting us.

Apart from the anonymous usage stats described above, which include simple error codes and never your content, the app has no analytics or crash SDK. If your device is configured to share analytics with app developers, Apple may also make crash information available to us through its developer tools.

This app is not directed at children under 13 and sends us no personal data. If you believe a child has included personal information in an email to us, write to the address below and ask us to delete that correspondence.

Laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data held about you. We hold no personal data received from the app, so there is nothing from the app for us to produce or erase. If you contact us by email, you can ask us to provide or delete your support correspondence.

Use the app's deletion controls where available. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device, but may not remove copies in an Apple-operated private iCloud service or device backup, or files you previously exported or shared. Manage those copies in the relevant Apple service or destination. We have never sold personal information and never will.

If this app's behaviour ever changes in a way that affects this policy, this page is updated before that change ships, and the date above changes with it.
